Andrea Lou Garrett

Andrea Lou Garrett of Farmville, VA, was born on January 28, 1947, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 23, 2017 with her family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Bert C. and Frances Throckmorton Swalley. Andrea is survived by her husband of forty-three years, Floyd L. Garrett; two daughters, Lori Garrett Davis and husband Robert “Rusty” Davis of Hampden Sydney, VA, and Tabbi Garrett Cifers and husband Steven A. Cifers of Midlothian, VA; five grandsons, Taylor M. Davis, Bryce C. Davis, Andrew B. Davis, Hayden C. Davis, all of Hampton Sydney, VA, and Zachary A. Cifers of Midlothian, VA; and one granddaughter, Brittany N. Cifers of Midlothian, VA. Andrea worked for many years as a respiratory therapist at Southside Community Hospital. Lou was a very generous person who dearly loved her family.
The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, on Sunday, March 26, 2017, from 4 to 6 p.m. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of the arrangements.
