Anthony William Green

Anthony William Green, age 53, of Drakes Branch, VA, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, E. “Sonny” W. and Frances Scott Green.

Anthony is survived by one son, Cody Green; one sister, Patricia G. Shelton (Douglas); one half-sister, Brenda Powell; two half-brothers, Gary Green (Patty), Johnny Dix (Vanessa); two nieces, Carolyn Childress and Sabrina Childress; four aunts, Ann Tharpe, Linda Mason (Tom), Margaret Kelehar, Barbara Langford; one uncle, Lawrence Shores (Josephine); and numerous cousins.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, September 1, 2024, at the Scott Family Cemetery, Saxe, VA. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
