Barbara Joan Routt

Mrs. Barbara Joan Routt, age 77, of Charlotte Court House, Virginia, passed on February 15, 2022.

Mrs. Routt was born on May 8, 1944, in Yonkers, New York, to the late Gilbert Dean and Florence Dean.

Mrs. Routt worked at Walmart for many years before retirement. In her free time, Mrs. Routt enjoyed spending time with family at her beloved lake house.

Mrs. Routt is survived by her loving husband, Roscoe Richard Routt; children, Wesley Scott Routt, Jamie Routt (Kellie), Barbara Vanderpool (Preston) and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Routt was predeceased by her son, Roscoe Dean Routt.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 11 AM at the Routt Family Cemetery with Reverend Dewey Barker officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, February 18, from 9 AM to 5 PM at Browning- Duffer Funeral Home.
