Betty Mae Whirley

Betty Mae Whirley, age 71, of Keysville, VA, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2017. Betty was born on April 19, 1946, to the late James Samuel Whirley, Sr., and Anna Anderson Whirley.

She is survived by one sister, Shirley Smith and husband Alton; one brother, Billy Whirley; nine nieces and nephews, Bobby Whirley and wife, Kristin, Ginger Smith and husband, Mike, Robin Womack, Debra Depuy and husband, Jeremy, Richard Womack and wife, Melinda; nine great-nieces and nephews, Anna Smith, Jessica Smith, Daniel Smith, Alexis Smith, Gracie Mae Whirley, Clifton Daniel, Landon Womack, Dawson Womack, and Hudson Whirley; and one great-great-niece, Rylee Jones.  She was preceded in death by one brother, James S. Whirley, Jr.; and one half brother, George Anderson.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, October 6, 2017, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, with interment to follow in Ash Camp Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service.
