Betty Tucker Thomas

Betty Tucker Thomas, age 88, of Charlotte C. H., VA, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Garland Carter Thomas; her parents, Charles Richard and Grace Garrett Tucker; one granddaughter, Laurie Ann Holt; and one grandson, Tucker Holt; two brothers, Amos B. Tucker and Lewis Ray Tucker; and one sister, Doris Leigh Cage.
Betty is survived by four daughters, Wanda Thomas Bolton (Matt), Debbie Thomas Clements (John), Pat Thomas Holt (Edwin), Bonnie Thomas Trent (Ted); eleven grandchildren; Jennifer Lee (Richard), Chris Holt (Crystal), John E. Clements, Jr., Suzanne Driskill (Eric), Melanie Currin (Greg), Matthew Bolton (Michele), Christine Clements, Michael Trent (Blair), Rice Holt (Sara), Tyler Holt (Hailey), and Sarah Riepe (Creigh); twenty-three great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Margaret Ann Moore; two brothers, Billy Tucker  and Roger Dale Tucker.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, August 6, 2020, at the Oak View Presbyterian Church Cemetery Cullen, VA.  Remains will lie in state at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2020. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Oak View Presbyterian Church  Cemetery Fund c/o Scotty Hamlett, 185 Creek View Lane, Cullen, VA 23934. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
