Betty Wilmouth Davis

Betty Wilmouth Davis, age 73, of Drakes Branch, VA, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 26, 2014. She is survived by her three children, Dana Kimbrough and her husband, Chris of Dry Fork, VA, Robert “Bobby” Newcomb of Drakes Branch, VA, Corey Newcomb and his wife, AnnMarie of Phenix, VA; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Allen Wilmouth and his wife, Doris of Richmond, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Pay Day” Davis, and her son, Todd Newcomb.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 29, 2014, in the Trinity Gospel Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery, Drakes Branch, VA. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
