Brenda Newcomb Lewis

Brenda Newcomb Lewis, age 71, of Keysville, VA went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 15, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Theo and Lockie Newcomb; she was also preceded in death by a sister, Betty Newcomb McKinney; and a brother, James R. Newcomb.

Brenda had gotten tired, in constant pain, she left me sleeping in bed, there is no more pain. She’s asleep now waiting for the great and terrible day of our Lord when she’ll be resurrected and I’ll catch up with her to go to our forever home that Jesus has prepared for us. My Lord blessed me with a beautiful family. I’m very grateful for what we created. There’re no regrets when you have been chosen by King Jesus to be in his family.

Brenda is survived by her husband of forty-six years, Robert E. Lewis Jr.; two daughters, Stephanie Lewis Wilmouth and husband, Robert “Robbie”, Tabitha Lewis Kean and husband, Jonathan; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; and a sister, Linda Newcomb.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2025, in Cool Spring Christian Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Charlotte County Rescue Squad. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
