Catherine Jones Martin

Catherine Jones Martin, age 92, of Charlotte Court House, VA, died on Friday, June 2, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry “Jack” and Elvira Deaner Jones; her husband, Buford Tune Martin; and two sisters, Mauree J. Paulson and Dean J. Osborne.

Catherine is survived by her daughter, Barbara Martin Clark and husband, George Clark; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, June 5, 2023, at Mt. Tirzah Baptist Church, Charlotte Court House, VA with interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA on Sunday, June 4, 2023, from 4 to 6 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, consider donations to the Southside SPCA, P O Box 66, Meherrin, VA 23954 or help a homeless animal.  The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
