Dan Calvin Pearson

Dan Calvin Pearson, 83, of Keysville, Virginia departed this life Monday, August 27, 2012, after nine months of failing health. He is survived by nephews, Ronnie D. Pearson of Dinwiddie, Raymond C. Pearson Jr. of Midlothian; a niece, Connie P. Davis of Ringold. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver Ross Pearson and Martha Kathleen Thompson Pearson; brothers, Oliver Ross Pearson Jr., William “Bill” Pearson, and Raymond C. Pearson. Dan served faithfully and honorably in the United States Navy as a Chief Machinist Mate for thirty years. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
A Graveside Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, August 29, 2012, in the Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church Cemetery, Meherrin, Virginia. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, Virginia, on Tuesday, August 28, 2012, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The remains rest at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, Virginia.
