Doris Cocke Brandon

Doris C. Brandon, age 90, of Victoria, VA departed this life on Thursday, February 21, 2019, to stroll across Heaven with her husband of 53 years Pat. She was the only child of William and Edna Cocke who preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by her beloved cat Boots.  Doris is survived by her son, Phil Brandon and wife, Debbie; two grandchildren, Bonnie Jones (T.), Lori Woods (Dave); five great-grandchildren, Brandon Jones, Riley Jones, Lanie Woods, Jack Woods, and MacKenzie Woods.  She was a lifelong member of Rough Creek Presbyterian Church  and a member by association of Victoria Evangelical Presbyterian Church.  Doris retired from her manufacturing job after thirty-five and a half years.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 24, 2019, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA with interment to follow in the Lakeview Cemetery Victoria, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Lunenburg Health Services, Inc. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is serving the family.
