Elaine Lacks

Elaine Lacks, a beloved wife, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend passed away on September 27, 2024. Elaine was predeceased by her husband Barry Hite, her parents Willie Jeffers Lacks and Lillie Belle Overby, her brother Junior Lacks, and her niece Jannie Vicks.

Known for her kind heart, outgoing spirit, and love for animals. Elaine cherished her family and was surrounded by them until she went to be with her Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. Elaine’s spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.  She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Elaine leaves behind her loving family, her sisters Faye Wilmouth of Cullen, VA , and Deborah Jackson of Chase City, VA ; one niece Nancy Argenbright; three nephews James Lee Newcomb, Jr., Christopher Wilson, Stephen Wilson; and many grand nieces and nephews.  Condolences can be sent to Deborah Jackson and Faye Wilmouth at 300 Family Drive Road, Chase City, VA 23924.
