Estelle Phillips Flowers

Estelle P. Flowers, age 83, of Farmville, VA passed away Monday, December 24, 2012. She was born on December 26, 1928 and was the youngest of eleven children. Estelle is survived by her husband, Paul E. Flowers; one son, Calvin L. Flowers and wife, Brenda D. Flowers; three grandchildren, Somer F. Robestelle and husband, Mike of NJ, Shaun T. Abernathy and wife, Dana of Cumberland, VA, Paul B. Flowers and wife, Kacey of Farmville, VA; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers and five sisters.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2012 at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home, with interment to follow in the Meherrin Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2012.
