Frances Lipscomb Sowell

Frances Lipscomb Sowell, age 85, of Clarksville, VA, formerly of Randolph, VA, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2012.
Frances was the widow of Aubrey J. Sowell.
She is survived by three children, Delmas Sowell, Randy Sowell and his wife, Patricia, Robin Davis and her husband, Robert; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Sallie Lipscomb; a brother, Claude Lipscomb; and a sister, Eva Napier.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 29, 2012, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, with interment to follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, April 28, 2012, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
