Geneva Elder Grissom

Geneva Elder Grissom, age 85, of Keysville, VA, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2013. She is survived by seven children, Dan Grissom Sue, Ronnie Grissom Carol, Sandra Blount Marcus, Dickie Grissom JoAnn, Dwight Grissom Debbie, Tina Evans David, Teri Mason Rock; eighteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Joyce Wrenn, and Martha Hanck. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland H. Grissom; and her parents, Bernard and Ruby Haley Elder.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, July 15, 2013, in the Saxe Cemetery, Saxe, VA. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, on Sunday, July 14, 2013, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Charlotte County Rescue Squad. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
