Glenn Edward Watkins

Glenn Edward Watkins, age 43, of Keysville, VA went to be with the Lord on April 9, 2013. Glenn was born to Ervin Lee Watkins and Irma Lacks Watkins on June 23, 1969 in South Boston, VA. He is preceded in death by his mother and father. Glenn is survived by his wife of eight wonderful loving years, Sharon Courville and children, Mackenzie and Jimmie of Keysville and Jeffrey Deryer of North Carolina; two brothers, Michael Garret Watkins of Keysville, Robbie Allen Watkins and wife, Jo of Clarksville; two nephews, Cody Watkins and Stephen Astringer; one niece, Michelle Astringer; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and an enormous list of friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2013, in the Friendship Baptist Church, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 11, 2013.
