Harrell Tuck, Jr., “Tink”, age 77, of Keysville, VA passed away on Monday, October 15, 2012. He was born on June 5, 1935. Tink is survived by his wife, Margaret Jones Tuck; children, Linda Canada Jeff, Harrell Tuck III “Chip” Dianne, Karen Lawson Joe, and Robert “Beaver” Berkeley Patricia; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his stepmother, Sterling Tuck; stepsister, Pam Bates; and half-brother, Wayne Tuck Frankie. He was preceded in death by, his parents, Harold Tuck and Marion Tuck; his sister, June T. Barnard. He graduated from Randolph-Henry High School and was a post graduate of Fork Union. Tink was a member of Ash Camp Baptist Church, the Charlotte Lions Club, Charlotte County Rescue Squad, and Briery Country Club. He and Margaret owned and operated Tuck’s Restaurant for 33 years.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, October 18, 2012, in Ash Camp Baptist Church in Keysville, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Charlotte County Rescue Squad, Meherrin Rescue Squad. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
