Howard Ernie Pyle Sr., age 71, of Meherrin, VA passed away on Monday, July 11, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Annie Prince Pyle, his daughter, Patricia Berkeley Beaver and son, Ernie Pyle Jr fiancée Tammy, 3 grandchildren, Trey Sally, Erin fiancé JR and Alan and 2 great- granddaughters, Harper and Teagan.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Meherrin Baptist Church, 1830 Bruceville Road, Meherrin, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to be made to the Meherrin Volunteer Fire & Rescue, P O Box 94, Meherrin, VA 23954.
The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
