Ida Childress Scott

Ida Childress Scott, age 68, of Drakes Branch, VA, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2012.
She is survived by six children, James W. Scott and his wife, Ann, Sandra S. Wilmoth and her husband, Morris, Brenda H. Simpson, Peggy S. Claytor and her husband, Nelson, Wanda S. Murray and her husband, Aubrey, Paul E. Scott and his wife, Sherry; thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, James R. Childress, Charlie E. Childress; and two sisters, Mabel C. Glasscock, Sarah Jenny C. Hudson. She was preceded in death by her husband, William W. “Pete” Scott; and her parents, James and Agnes Childress.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 8, 2012, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, with interment to follow in the Scott Family Cemetery, Saxe, VA. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home on Saturday, July 7, 2012, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
