James H. Saunders, 50, went home to be with the Lord on December 14, 2018. He was born August 24, 1968, to Billy Leonard Saunders and Ann Sims Saunders.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Morris Winston Sims Sr., his father, Billy Leonard Saunders Sr., two brothers, Billy Leonard Saunders Jr., and Carlton Donald Fallen Jr., and nephew, Jordan Tyler Saunders.
He is survived by his grandmother, Nell Sims, mother, Ann Fallen and her husband, Carlton D. Fallen Sr., wife Joy C. Saunders, two children, Justin R. M. Saunders and Jessica N. Saunders, sister Tina Saunders and nieces Madalyn Saunders and Katrina Shelton Saunders. Two uncles Morris Winston Sims Jr., and Jerry Lee Sims (Lisa).
A memorial service will be held on January 5, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Southall Memorial UMC in Saxe, VA 23967.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Charlotte County Rescue Squad, P. O. Box 330, Keysville, VA 23947. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is serving the family.
