Janice Lacks Griffin

Janice Lacks Griffin, age 64, of Charlotte Court House, VA, passed away at her home on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, surrounded by her family.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Betty Lacks; a great-grandson, Noah Womack; six brothers; and one sister.

Janice is survived by her husband, Jerry C. Griffin; two sons, J.W. Griffin (Tonya), Jason Griffin (Nicole); six grandchildren, Benjamin Capps (Selena), Jacob Capps (Krystal), Tiffany Capps, Brandon Griffin, Nathaniel Griffin, and Jaelee Griffin; six great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Brookelynn, Braxton, Haisley, Damian, and Skyler; one half-sister, Josephine Daniel (Luther); and numerous family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 20, 2022, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, with interment to follow in the Lacks Family Cemetery, Saxe, VA.  The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home on Friday, August 19, 2022, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.  The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is respectfully serving the Griffin family.
