Jessie Lee Scruggs

Mrs. Jessie Lee Scruggs, age 95, of Keysville, Virginia, passed on July 20, 2022 at her residence.

Mrs. Scruggs was born on June 26, 1927, in Virginia, to the late Judson Clark and Bessie Foster Clark. She was a loving homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Scruggs is survived by her children, Jimmy Finch, Bobby Finch, Delores Williams, Debbie Jones, and Stanley Scruggs. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Scruggs was predeceased by her first husband, Berkley Thomas Finch; second husband, Herman Stanley Scruggs, Jr.; sister, Rachael Owen; and brother, Willie Clark.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 11 AM at Cullen Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Ted R. Smith Jr. officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, July 22, from 9 AM to 5 PM at Browning-Duffer Funeral Home.
