John Carroll Hedrick

John Carroll Hedrick, age 73, of Randolph, VA, passed away On Sunday, April 16, 2023.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilford C. and Mary Smith Hedrick.

John is survived by his wife, Julia Dickerson Hedrick; two step-children, Paula Bell and Robert J. Tuck III and wife Janet; four grandchildren, Kate (Brad), Rob (Samantha), Raven (Xzavier), Tamra (Victor); seven great-grandchildren, Brandy Chamberlain, JT Mathews, Josh Tuck, Teagan Tuck, Ashlynn Tuck, Jackson Mathews, Dakota Easter; one brother, Ralph Hedrick (Dianne); two sisters, Peggy Recker and Cindy Hedrick.

John was a Veteran of the United States Army.  He was a member of the VFW Post 7059, and a retired Elder of Rough Creek Presbyterian Church.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 18, 2023, in Rough Creek Presbyterian Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, on Monday, April 17, 2023, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
