John Thomas Kenny

John Thomas Kenny, age 77 of Drakes Branch, VA previously from Edgewater, NJ passed away on June 11, 2020. He was born on November 29, 1942 to the late Thomas and Dora Kenny.

John is survived by his sister Barbara Hoinash, two brothers Martin and Robert Kenny, daughter Tara Kenny, former wife Kathy Kenny, stepdaughter Amy Hudson and family (Jason, Zack & Cayden), nephew Drew Hoinash (Anna), niece Dawn Starr (Matt), great nephews DJ Hoinash and Connor Starr and a great niece Taylor Hoinash, Corrine Rogers Gervasi and Kristen Rogers, many friends and his dog Dutchess.

John was in the US Army where he was stationed in Friedberg Germany and was honorably discharged in 1971. He worked at Palisades Interstate Park until he retired as Crew Supervisor.  He had a special love for his family, dog and horse racing.  He will be dearly missed.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville. A private interment will follow. The Browning Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is serving the family.
