John William Osborne Sr.

John William Osborne, Sr., 55, of Wylliesburg, VA, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father, Raleigh Osborne; his son, Will Osborne; and a nephew, Colton Osborne.

John is survived by his wife, Stacey Osborne; children, Travis Osborne, Madison Ragan, and Allison Osborne; his mother, Myrtle Osborne; one brother, Eddie Osborne (Teresa); one nephew, Dylan Osborne (Alyssa); and two great-nieces, Sadie Osborne and Willow Osborne.

He was a farmer and truck driver as well as a lifetime member of the Bacon District Volunteer Fire Department and Hebron United Methodist Church.  John was a loving father who had many friends that he loved hunting and socializing with.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, August 14, 2022, at Hebron United Methodist Church, with interment to follow in the church cemetery, Saxe, VA.  The family will receive friends at the home of Myrtle Osborne at all other times.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Bacon District Volunteer Fire Department or the American Cancer Society.  The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home of Keysville, Virginia is respectfully serving the Osborne Family.
