Joyce Carter Roach

Joyce Carter Roach, born on April 25, 1938, went home to be with our Lord on this day October 3, 2018. She left behind a loving husband of thirty-three years, Millard (Whom she always called “Roach”); eight children, Ray Morgan Carter, Mark Dwayne Carter (Lisa), Marjorie Carter Bryant, Timothy Darryl Carter, Gregory Dean Carter, Barry Carter Roach (Kelly), Tina Roach Smith (Barry), Amy Roach Sprouse (Wendell); twelve grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one sister, Barbara Redford (Calvin). Joyce was a proud member of Phenix Presbyterian Church. She left her family with an abundance of cherished memories.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, October 8, 2018, at New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery, Randolph, VA. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago IL 60601. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is serving the family.
