Madeline Louise Sharpe

Madeline L. Sharpe, age 96, of Keysville, VA passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, A. Z. Sharpe Sr.; daughter, Shirley Dietz; and son, Alan Zeb.

Madeline is survived by one daughter, Ruth Williams; two sons, A. Z. Sharpe Jr. (Candy), Edward Jay Sharpe (Ruby); and son- in-law, Bobby Dietz (Shirley); eleven  grandchildren, James Spotts, Wesley Williams, Trixie Dietz, Bobbi Jo Dietz, Jamie Sharpe, Cristina Waite(Scott), Heather Matson(Josh), Andrea Sharpe(Mark), Angel Dyer(Josh), Edward Jay Sharpe II(Kelsey), Misty Sharpe; twenty-five great-grandchildren, Anna Spotts, Tyler Hamlett, Katy Lockett, Samantha Venditti, Madison Venditti, Emma Venitti, Allison Venditti, Tyler Matson (Kimmie), Hailey Matson, Andrew Matson, Cameron Lupton, Dreaden Lupton, Layla Rose Lupton, Josh Dyer, Kerstin Dyer, McKenzie Sharpe, Nathan Sharpe(Nicky), Keegan Sharpe, Paisley Sharpe, Kyle Williams, Jacob Williams, Wyatt Williams, Beau Waite, Wolf Waite, Landon Waite; one great-great-grandson, Neegan; one great- great-granddaughter, Dillion; one brother, William Hoar; family friends Pete Hanson and Patty White; and numerous  nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Keysville, VA.  The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, on Monday, March 6, 2023, from 4 to 5:30 p.m.  A reception will be held at Sheldon’s Restaurant on Tuesday, following the funeral service.  The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
