Marjorie Vaughan Owen

Marjorie Vaughan Owen, age 86, of Drakes Branch, VA, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2011.
She is survived by three children, Dale M. Ferrell and her husband, Tommy, Ralph Madison and his wife, Shirley, Beverly M. Jackson and her husband, J. C.; six grandchildren, Pamela Ferrell, Stephanie F. Donovan, Chad Madison, Julie Jackson-Bailey, Cheryelle A. Jackson, Brandon Madison; four great-grandchildren, Amber Byrd, Caleb Donovan, Devin Donovan, Natalie A. Madison; one sister, Shirley Frary; and two brothers, George Vaughan, C. W. Vaughan, Jr.
She was preceded in death by her parents, C. W. and Lena M. Vaughan Sr.; her husband, Marshall D. Owen, Sr.; and three sisters, Jean Card, Alice Madison, and Jeanette Lockett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, November 6, 2011, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, with interment to follow in the Wylliesburg Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Wylliesburg, VA. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home on Saturday, November 5, 2011, from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Charlotte County Rescue Squad. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
