Mary Julia Spencer

Mary Julia Spencer, age 94, of Fort Mitchell, VA passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2010. She was the widow of Bayard Manning Spencer Jr. Mary was a loving mother and friend to all that knew her.

She is survived by six daughters, Jane Spencer Gross, Jo Anne Spencer, Donna Spencer Burch, Judith Diane Miller, Christina Moore, Barbara Etchison; two sons, George Sonny Musgrove, Michael P. Pilkerton; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Aud; and one brother, Johnny Pilkerton.

A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, August 6, 2010, at the Salem Christian Church in Fort Mitchell, VA, with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
