Michael Wayne Dickerson ” Pooh Bear And Mike”

Michael Wayne Dickerson ” Pooh Bear and Mike”, age 62, of Saxe, VA passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Alice Dickerson; his father Clarence ” Man ” Nichols; and his brother Brian Nichols.

Mike is survived by three sisters, Donna Tharpe (Dale) of Saxe, Wanda Powell (Michael) of South Boston, Lisa Daniel (Roger) of Randolph; and numerous nephews and nieces. He cherished his step-daughter Leslie Dickerson (Allen) of Saxe; and two step-granddaughters.

Mike loved to fish day or night before he had his LVAD (left ventricular assist device) put in. If you were one to get a call from him, he always talked about doing road construction.

There will be a memorial graveside service at 3 p.m., Sunday, December 1, 2024, at New Hope Methodist Church Randolph Va. The Reverend Dewey Barker will be officiating. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
