Rosemary Womack Shook

Rosemary Womack Shook, age 62, of Meherrin, VA, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Gladys Womack; sister, Shyleen “Charlie” White; brother, Steven Simmons; and a granddaughter, Bristol Storm Shook.

Rosemary is survived by her husband of thirty-three years, Lewis Ray Shook; four children, Ski Shook (Amanda), Lori Derflinger (Daniel), Buck Shook (Shannon), and Kati McNabb (John); seven grandchildren; Dana Borum (Fletcher), Lora Biddle (Adam), Cameron Shook, Jaxton Shook, Ashley Satterwhite, Kaleb Satterwhite, and Jordan Satterwhite.  She was the GB to her three great-grandchildren, Palmer Biddle, Anderlen Biddle, and Sadie Borum; three brothers, Gary Simmons (Suki) of El Paso, TX, Tom Simmons (Margaret) of Farmville, and Donnie Simmons (Nan) of Farmville; one sister, Debbie Maxey (Rob) of Buckingham; one brother-in-law, Charles White of Georgia; and a host of nephews, great-nephews, nieces, and great-nieces.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m., on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 5, 2023, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the SPCA, P O Box 66, Meherrin, VA 23954.  The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
