Rowan Zell Hazelwood-Beall

Rowan Zell Hazelwood-Beall, the newborn son of Mikayla Beall and Tucker Hazelwood went to Heaven Friday, October 11, 2024.  Rowan was four days old and passed away peacefully in his mother’s arms.  In his short time with us he was truly a fighter.

In his mother’s words, “There has never been a cuter baby.” In his dad’s words, “Rowan immediately looked like his mom and slightly like me.”

In addition to his parents, Rowan is survived by his grandparents, Roger Beall of Willow Springs, N. C., Leanna Samuels of Drakes Branch, VA, Steven Hazelwood and Tera Cassada of Charlotte Court House, VA; great-grandparents, Dona Moore of Willow Springs, N. C., Georgette Zappe of Richmond, VA, Elaine Vroemen of Charlotte Court House, VA, David and Kim Cassada of Keysville, VA, Roger and Deborah Hazelwood of Chase City, VA; great-great-grandparents, Barbara and Lucien Maisonneweuve of Wylliesburg, VA; aunts Hanna Beall, Delilah Beall, Reilly Gunter, Emmerson Hazelwood; uncles, Clayton Hensley, and Finn Cassada; Godmother Diamond Gregory; special friends, Haroon Abizaid, Kyle Fallen; special cousin Christian Cassada; numerous extended family and friends.

Rowan is deeply loved and will forever be in the hearts of all the lives he touched.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
