Tessie Eunice Marshall Kizis

Tessie Eunice Marshall Kizis was born on September 10, 1926, of Brookneal VA, formerly of Concord, GA, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015. She is survived by her husband Michael Kizis; three children, Michael and Barbara Kizis of Cambridge, NJ, Daniel and Debbie Kizis of Melrose, MA, Theresa and Millard Preston of Brookneal, VA; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. She was a bookkeeper her whole life—she loved numbers, reading, gardening, cooking, and the joy she received from her children and grandchildren. Tessie was an educated woman, who attended college later in life, she was a Hospice volunteer, and volunteered at various church functions. She will be missed by all her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, September 18, 2015, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Macular Degeneration Society. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of the arrangements.
