William Pete Watkins Scott

William W. Pete Scott, age 66, of Drakes Branch, VA, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2010.

He is survived by his wife, Ida C. Scott; six children, James W. Scott, Sandra S. Wilmoth, Brenda S. Simpson, Peggy S. Claytor, Wanda S. Murray, Paul E. Scott; thirteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five sisters, Ann Tharpe, Kathy Scott, Linda Mason, Charlotte Barker, Frances Green; and one brother, Otis Scott.

A Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, September 24, 2010 at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, with interment in the Scott Family Cemetery, in Saxe, VA. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home on Thursday, September 23, 2010, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
